Streaks is a fun new feature that rewards our members for regular use of Curious Cat. The feature will be opened periodically in the app at random, so keep an eye out for it.
How do I unlock a Streak?
A Streak is unlocked when any task is completed 5 days in a row. Once you’ve completed a task on these 5 consecutive days, your Streak will be activated.
What are the benefits of an active Streak?
When a Streak is active, you’ll receive an extra 10% for each task completed. For example, if a task usually pays 50 points, you’ll earn 55 points.
You’ll also earn an instant 25 point bonus when your streak is first activated. Your bonus will be shown in the app for you to claim.
What happens if my Streak is broken?
If you miss a day of completing at least one task, your streak will be paused until you complete tasks 5 days in a row again.
Please note, you only receive the 25 point Streak activation bonus once per opened Streak. If your Streak is activated, paused and re-activated only the first activation will earn the bonus.
How long is each Streak open?
Each opened Streak will have a start and end date, which will be clearly shown in the app. When a Streak is closed, the extra 10% earnings will come to an end.
Anything else I need to know?
When a Streak is open, a Streaks page will be shown when you open the app. This will be your start page for the duration of the open Streak. The page will notify you of your current Streak status and direct you to the best task to continue towards or maintain your Streak. Your regular Task Wall can be reached from the Tasks tab if required.
